Shipping policy

Ballard Cheese Curds & Grilling Cheese are made fresh to order and need to be ordered by 10:30 am Mountain Time on Monday for pickup on Tuesday afternoon.

Curds or Grilling Cheese ordered for shipping on Monday will normally be shipped on Tuesday and delivered by Friday. 

Our hard cheeses can normally be picked up at the farm or shipped 24 hours after ordering.

Due to the perishable nature of our cheddar, we use special insulation and gel ice as needed.  We try to ship orders on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to ensure safe delivery and prevent our cheddar from sitting on a truck over a weekend.

Shipping and Handling charges are based on the total weight for each shipping address. Please check your address carefully.  We cannot extend our guarantee to orders for which we are given an incorrect delivery address.  An additional charge may be incurred if the address is corrected and delivery made. Ballard  Family fresh Cheddar Cheese and Cheese Curd products are perishable.   Make sure someone will be home to receive and refrigerate your package upon its arrival.  If no one is
usually home during the day, consider shipping your orders to your place of business.

If your order is placed by mail or through our website, it may not be entered into our system on the same day.  Ask for specifics of shipping when placing your order if in question by texting or calling our office phone at 208-934-4972 or cell phone at 208-420-1576 or email us at ballardcheese4u@yahoo.com 

Substitution Policy
In the event a certain gift item is out of stock, we reserve the right to substitute a similar product of an equal or greater value.   

Gift Message Greetings
We will relay your special greeting exactly as you wish.  Type in your message in the comments section on your order form, and we will include the message with your gift.
