I bought some Ballard Huckleberry Cheddar Cheese at Lakeview Fruit in Caldwell, ID and it is delicious!
I am from a place in Oregon close to Tillamook where they do dairy very well. But Wow, these are the finest cheese curds I have ever had. The texture is absolutely perfect, the flavor is outstanding and I love that they give all credit to God for these achievements. Ordering more cheese now. Thank you and God Bless.
Recipe for Mac and Cheese Perfection. I started with Ballard White Cheddar Cheese and mixed it with some Ballard Pepper Jack. My Mac & Cheese tasted amazing. Cheddars from other companies produced mediocre results.
The cheese was so good that I never got to grate any of it. I ended up just hacking away at the block and eating slices of it. The best cheese I have had since my two year tour of Italy while in the service.
Do you ship out of state? (YES) I am a Minnesota native who moved to Boise and worked at the co-op downtown for 3 years. I tried these curds and simply couldn't get enough. I recently had to move back to Minnesota (no, it's not Wisconsin the cheese state but we're neighbors) and I miss these curds so dang bad. They are my absolute favorite!! So please tell me you ship! Thank you so much! (Ballard Cheese does ship...even to Minnesota and Wisconsin!)

My wife happened upon your Idaho Grilling Cheese during her last visit to WinCo and purchased a package, along with several other cheese options, for a date night Raclette dinner to celebrate our engagement anniversary. I love cheese. My wife enjoys it as part of a meal but not to the point of cutting off a thick slice and eating it plain. We initially tried melting it on bread, like we did with most of the other cheeses. That, of course, didn't work very well but I could tell the cheese was yummy. Then we read the package and realized it was a grilling cheese so we threw some thick slices on top of the Raclette grill and let them get nice and brown and a bit crispy. OH MY GOODNESS!!! The cheese is fantastic. It's now my new favorite cheese of all time. My wife was even exclaiming over it and eating it plain or paired with the grilled shrimp or chicken we also had on the grill. All I can say is THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Keep up the good work. We look forward to enjoying more Ballard Idaho Grilling Cheese in the future. God bless.

I bought some cheese from the Ballards and noticed it said ‘Made Possible by the Grace of God’ and laughed. Then I ate the cheese. Now I believe in god too. Yes it was that good
Can't beat Ballard Cheese: Locally made, great flavor, great variety, family oriented and community minded! What more could you ask for except MORE CHEESE! 🙂
I just wanted you to know that my wife and I tried your cheddar cheese curds and loved them. We also loved that you put the phrase “Made Possible By The Grace of God” on all of your packaging. We definitely will be looking to buy more of your product in the upcoming days and years. If you ever get the urge to make smoked cheese curds, well I’ll keep an eye out for it. Have a beautiful and blessed day,
We call the Ballard's Idaho Grilling Cheese (Halloumi) "Evil Cheese". It is so good you can hardly stop eating it! It's a tasty addition to any dish including salads, stir fry, soups or on its own. The great thing is you can grill it up or throw it into a stir fry it doesn't melt.
